K- Palette Real Lasting (One Day TATTOO) Eyeliner in Deep Brown

Poor cult favourite products, they always have so much to prove.

It's been quite long since last I used liquid eyeliner. I bought my first DollyWink liquid eyeliner back in... 2010 I guess?  Wow, time's passed.
I loved it. It wasn't quite the hype at that time yet, but I do think it's the best eyeliner, ever. It lasted me a full year without constant usage. It was jet black, lasted all day and was so easy to use.

Please ignore the background ><
Then in 2011 I bought a K-Palette eyeliner limited edition which is pink and came with this cute CD (It's.. somewhere in the house). Then I thought it was pretty crappy. The colour 'black' isn't really a strong black. I have to layer it to get the same darkness as dollywink. But staying power is okay, I guess.

Mid year, I lost it, just because I don't really use black eyeliner because someone said I wore too much makeup for my age =-= (rlly, dude?lol) even though I probably had the cleanest, sharpest line an young gal my age could make :p  I began to use subtle brown pencil eyeliner, which is DollyWink's.

And this year, hey, I kinda missed drawing my eyes with a liquid liner. And I shelled out my money to buy a Dollywink. Too bad, Iwas about 10k short lol so sad so I choose a K-palette which is cheaper.
And K-palette has brown now, and jet black. Probably because the just 'black' is so crappy, everyone puts up a protest lol. I was still afraid to use jet black liners, though.

So here's how it looks like. It promises you waterproof-ness and all day lasting power.
Personally knowing this eyeliner, it wouldn't literally last all day, but a good 8 hours.. which is already awesome because that's my maximum makeup wear time lol

The applicator is a very fine brush that's quite stiff but not like, super stiff it scratched my eyeballs out

Packaging? BORING, but I won't be showing it to anyone (but you readers!) anyway so that's not a problem for me.
Dollywink is the cutest, I guess. Ohwait, I think my old limited-ed was kinda pink and cute too.

Really, really fine line. Get a nice amount of pressure, and you'll get a line 3x thicker. Super easy and friendly for both beginners and non-newbie to use.

Smudge test on thickest line! Abit rub rub rub

IT FLAKED OFF?! HOW?!
I didn't remember having this problem with the black! Boo brown :(

Water test!

It's waterproof! By all means, waterproof does mean when you cry, it won't melt down your cheeks.

Rubbed the thickest bottom line again (because the water drips down), and it only left me a tint.
Good thing it flaked, not smudged

Comparison of the line vs my hand because prev pics were ultra zoomed in.

Did nothing but put a simple winged line.. ah I missed winged-eye eyeliners with liquid liner :')
The marker-brush body type made it so easy to make a line or is it my hands are pro
I piled a few layers to get this dark brown, because the pigmentation is quite medium

Made a connecting line on lower lashline and here's my favourite cat-eye liner look :)

My eye has been crazy red and sensitive, I can't really wear lenses :(

Final Verdict?

I have to say I'm quite dissapointed. Still great but not awesome
I'm not taking less point with the pigmentation because I knew it beforehand.
I'm not taking points out on the non-cute packaging too, that I can live without

But can I just have the damn long lasting power? Seems not :( Maybe naturally the brown pigments are weaker than blacks? I don't know
I still love the marker-brush type but I think I could get cheaper ones, really.

I might get DollyWink's brown liquid liner soon, and do a comparison.

It costs me a hefty IDR 175,000 for this liner
