I hate clay masks
Why?
They're heavy-textured, they do minimise my pore but left my skin feeling tight and dry.. which made my skin produce more and more sebum and I have to use it again =_= I just don't really like them, I prefer my MBD masks thankyou
But this mask changed my thought on clay masks. They're actually quite lovely, I guess
Kiehl's are always SO EXPENSIVE lol I never dare to go to their counter. My faint heart cannot see the price tag already.
But now I'm with dad, so I took a few brave steps inside. After going around for a moment or two, I decided to get this mask just because I'm quite happy with the rest of my skincare. And you can never have too much mask, riteee?
You see, this mask.. you only need a verryyyy thin layer for your whole face. I've had this for a month and as you can see, I've only made a small concave so far. I use this mask thrice a week.
A little goes a loooonngg way. This big tub might last you forever, really
What I love from clay masks is that they're so quick. Slap it on, wait 8 mins (not ten, duh, ten is waaaayy to long) until you are forcefully-pokerfaced by the dried mask, and rinse. Super quick, easy and practical
The *ouch* price tag. But I think it's worth it, because it can last you a year *or forever if you're lazy lol*
Unlike most clay masks, this mask is very thin and watery. You only need a thin layer otherwise your face will feel kinda bizarre. It sorta warms and tingles on your face, but the feeling is very, very mild.
The extreme ones are like garnier's self heating mask which made me kinda traumatized toward clay masks =_=
Demo :
My skin is NOT this bad usually, okay? I think I'm going to have 'that time of the month' soon, so many small pimples sprouted -__- but the pores on my nose were always so horrid.
Big, gaping and black.

ohya, that hole on the right pic is actually some of the mask got wiped off lol
| Rinsed |
My pores are sliiiightly tighter, some of the white heads are just protruding out, easily cleaned by a cottonswab. Most of all, that I love is the squeaky clean feeling! No tight, blotted feeling!

It just didn't show on the camera, but my skin get a kind of 'glow' from the mask (and no, that's not the lighting, I use the exact same lighting for both pics). Not oily-glow, just this soft sheen of glow :)
My face felt a lot cleaner, not even a little bit tight. If I squeeze my nose abit, the whiteheads easily popped out and I can just wipe it off, making my pores a lot clearer.
Of course, after that use toner to seal the pores back, and, oh, look at the mirror to see your glowy and soft new skin!
Super love it <3
Final Verdict?
A super worth-to-splurge mask! Price abit ouch but one tub goes a looooongngngngngng way! The results are NOT dramatic or life/skin-changing, but quite mild for everyday use I guess. Left your skin very clean, without the annoying tight feeling. Bonus : a super glowy baby-soft skin!
on the other side, I don't think this mask would benefit those with dry skin and no pores : / but I would definitely recommend this to you oily-skinned, big-pore-millions-comedos people like me :D
(Disclaimer : It's a skincare review, and, duh, everyone's skin is different. It might work for me, and not for you, or vice versa. This product is bought by 100% my dad's money. Lying would benefit me nothing, so these are my honest opinions on this product :))
